...is going to be crucial. I just hope this takeover thing is still alive and done in time as it's going to take some £££ pumping into the wage budget!
Looks like we need half a squad of far better quality to me. Better keeper, proper centre half who can organise, ball winning midfielder and a brick shithouse of a striker to hold it up. That's just for starters!
The takeover will be the reason given for not doing any business in January. Yiadom out, 2 bairns from Premier League in on loan.
When did we last sign a good player? Have we signed a good player permanently since Hecky's taken over? I dread to think what we'll get in January.
If I didn't clutch at straws, I'd cry my eyes out and the cat would be fed up of being kicked up the arse...
Not a dig at you CE.. just like one or two of the other posts are pointing out, our transfer deals in the next window will be the same as all the other ...plan... windows im afraid..
I suppose it all depends who is owning the club when the window opens. I agree though, if its the present incumbents(as much as I respect how they saved the club in it's darkest days) then I can see the same business again.
I know a lot of folk didn’t like us using the loan system and also wanted us to tie players down to longer contracts but I hope signing players on 2 & 3 year contracts doesn’t come back to bite us on the backside
Well I doubt we'll be fending off many offers for our players this time. Leaves the way for a 2016esque surge up the table to promotion.
