I honestly don't think Cryne will sack Hecky. He's not daft and I think he knows that the reaction from a lot of fans would be negative.
But the alternative is for Cryne to realise that this is his fault. Most of us have trouble admitting mistakes.
Although there was still some support from the terraces (including me) for Danny when he was sacked he didn't have the same level of support that Hecky still has. Aside from a small minority, Hecky still has a very high level of support amongst fans which I think will ensure he is offered a degree of protection. We all know that sacking Hecky will have no benefit whatsoever, not while delivering within 'the plan' is the key point of contract for any Barnsley manager.
As difficult as it is losing four games in a row (I'm as pissed off as everyone else) I don't think it's enough to draw the conclusion that anything has failed and anyone deserves to be 'blamed'. Four games ago no-one was talking about mistakes or fault. We're on a bad run. We've had them before and we will do again in the future. We've been really poor and with each defeat the fear grows as teams below us gain ground, but we're still four points clear. I believe our form will turn again. I trust Hecky to sort it out. As Plobby said, we have to stay together, play our part and get behind 'em.
I am behind them. Today is the only game in December I'm not going to. Always get behind them at the games. But 4 games ago is a long time in football. Moreover I have been saying this all season the squad is not good enough for the league we are in. I sincerely hope I'm proved wrong on that. All that said 4th bottom or above is still possible. But we chose to go this way so if it fails then we know it was the wrong choice.
Living off being promoted from lg1. any other manager playing this ***** would be under pressure. I know he has limited funds but does that mean our style of footy has to be long ball *****. I’m not his biggest fan by a long way but If we were gonna play this style of footy we should have signed COG. If Chesterfield can afford him we could have
I mainly agree but I'm at about 80%. The other 20% is lacking because we're playing ***** football and haven't looked remotely bothered about winning in the last 4 games, which worries me a lot.
Surely he’s allowed a bad run. We haven’t really had one yet under Hecky with all the circumstances he’s had to deal with .
Who was responsible for the recruitment policy in the summer? Was it our new CEO? Who owned the spreadsheet?
Im 99% behind Hecky... the 1% against, is his love for Brad Potts, something I will never understand.... absolute eeyore.
Tin hat time lad. Although I have yet to see what he offers besides running around like a slow headless chicken.
