Too difficult to choose a fav.. What I listen to most are Pentangle and Anne Briggs with the odd Fairport thrown in.

Very interesting. I do like looking at these pictures but more from "what the bloody hell were they thinking?" angle.

Don't get me wrong, it's a niche view. But then I think most people who say they hate Brutalism have only seen some of the worst examples, and only see the neglected state many have sadly been allowed to fall in to. I just hate the bland inoffensive architecture that so often prevails now.

I particularly love the social history that so often goes hand in hand with these buildings.

Most of all it's concrete though. The opportunity it's strength and freeform flexibility offers, the ability to create scale and shapes. The inside of the new Tate Modern wing is a thing of staggering beauty.

Worrabart ..... Sandy Denny... Album ' Northstar Grassman and the Ravens' not strictly Folk as some songs are contemporary but with the likes of some ex Fairport musos it sounds like it would be up your street.

    All excellent choices.
Sandy Denny had the most beautiful voice ever (green grow the laurels my no1)
But i'd have to have Bert Jansch in there too.
