I say now and then as he isn't a regular starter for obvious reasons.

So you mean that whenever he appears, he's unfit?

Why do you keep on berating players after we have lost?
This is just an easy target.
People on here seem to think you are insightful - so when are we going to hear from you during periods when it is important?
There was hardly a murmur from the vast majority on here including yourself during last Januarys transfer window.
And what about the debacle of this summers transfer window when it was obvious (to a few of us) that not enough striker options had been brought in?
    Where were you then?
IMO - it's no good having an easy swipe at the players we now have at the club - they want all the support right now that we can give them.

thought thiam was one of our better players , ok he ran out of steam , but fit and match fit are totally different .

Thiam is nowhere near the fitness levels needed for a Championship player. No pace. Offers no threat in the air and little on the ground. Little positional sense. No ability to make space. He can do a fancy flick or two if we are looking for a positive.

How about 55 minutes, like it said in the original post? or are you just arguing for the sake of arguing ? Thiam is obviously not fit enough to play the full game, but you seem to be berating the fans that say that , why ?

I thought he was quite a bit better than that. True he ran out of steam but as said higher in this thread fit and match fit aren’t the same. He was a lot better than Ugbo who only had to play for 25 minutes
And only player who could create anything until Moncur came on

I’d agree about Ugbo who I don’t think is currently good enough for our U23 team let alone the first team. He’s an ideal example of when loans don’t work. Keeping a Brown out who it’s hard to believe could be any worse.

Strange to pick on our best player today.

Stay away. Simple. Wouldn't know a proper footballer if you fell over one.

    I'm not berating anyone.
This is a forum where people's opinions should be respected.
I have not said that Thiam was fit enough for a full game. But then again, given that he's probably not played a full game yet, it is hardly surprising that he might not last a full game. Bradshaw was telling him to press today. And he did his best for as long as he could.
My point is that we've had 4 months to get him fit, so it's not the fact that we bought him in August or on any other date that's to blame.
    It is what it is.
But to try and say we ought not to have bought him in August because he won't be fit in December is of course ******.

Ok but why are you following Wiggy on this thread and hassling him, if it is the original poster that you disagree with ? If , as you say, peoples opinions should be respected, why not just do that ?
Some strange posts on here lately !!

No I'll keep going thanks. And I'm fairly confident I'm entitled to my opinion. Which of course you are welcome to disagree with. But I don't think you are entitled to tell me I may not go anymore because I don't hold the same views as you.

Totally disagree, he may appear unfit but appearances can deceive. I would select him on today's performance

I'm sure Wiggy can stand up for himself - he even "liked" a post today!

    "Hassling"?

Perhaps Wiggy can tell me I'm hassling him. If I am, I promise I will do a Supertyke and stop posting.

Apologies. You are of course entitled to your opinion. Mine differs that's all. Please keep going.

We haven't the players around him to benefit from his touches and flicks. And he hasn't remotely been provided with any service in front of goal. The guy has class, and it would not surprise me in the least if he departs for a bigger club in January. Perhaps somewhere like Middlesbrough or Norwich.

Who signed him? Not sure it was spreadsheet based or future owner based.
