I'm not so sure Hecky is going to be everyone else's cup of tea. Yeah he did great with the players he inherited from little Lee. By the end of that season we were the best team in league one, and we continued doing OK into last season. By comparison he's now got a poorer set of players, and has managed something like 8 wins in 45 games. The good stuff is now a memory, and the fans of any club that sack their manager will be looking for someone to come in and improve things almost immediately. No one is going to want a guy that's won 5 from 21 when the outgoing manager has just been sacked for a better points return. At this level hecky represents potential more than proven track record. He's still wet behind the ears really and I don't think Wednesday fans would be too keen on him returning to them as things stand.
