What would be the common view of trying to freshen the side with the much admired Jared Bird and Jacob Brown, not to mention Ryan hedges.
I think it would be a good shout, can't do much worse at the moment. along with Isgrove coming back too.
I think the phrase "couldn't do any worse" is appropriate here. I'd quite like to see what Adeboyejo (sp?) has to offer too.
Ryan Hedges is one of our best players yet he never gets a sniff. I don't know what he's supposed to do to get a start.
I I think PH is now starting to get to the stick or twist stage on a 16, where it's either a case of staying with the group he's mainly used so far and hope they scrape a few points and a bit of confidence and understanding, or he starts taking punts on some of the rarely used players in the hope that they give the team something it's been missing. Either way, it's a gamble.
One of our best players if your asking who is best at being easily knocked off the ball. Tough choice between him and Ugbo.
Not seen enough of Bird to form an opinion. One thing I would say is that he looks to have a bit of mobility about him. Potts, Gardner and Moncur all have the turning circle of a double decker bus. We have to try something different cos it sure as hell isn't working at present......
Agree on Potts and Gardner but Moncur has a bit of something about him that, if harnessed, could make him one of our best players. That jinking run on Saturday when he took on the whole Derby defence before leaving it for someone else to cross to Ugbo who missed from three yards was an example. I'm sure there is a good footballer in there and if he has half as good a career as his dad he will have done ok.
Moncur has talent but a heart the size of a pea. One good game in 10 and the odd cameo as a sub just isn't enough. He's a very good league 1 player and that's about it.
