By the ones that regularly go to the U23 games and see all these lads. I'm not one of them, but it's always interesting to get their input. Also did really well when he came on at Millwall.
Think people are being a bit harsh with Ugbo, if Davies had made that save it would still be being talked about next summer.
You might be right David but it can't help a player who has been largely ignored or publicly humiliated to gain any consistency. He deserved to be excluded last season, and sent to Peterborough, but he came back firing and has had the odd bit of success this season. I agree that's not enough but I just think a run of games would see a different attitude from him. He's a Londoner and probably not that happy living up north but he'll never get a good move back down south unless he starts showing us a bit more.
Oh it was a good save alright but it showed his inexperience that he couldn't pick a spot either side of the keeper, or above him, to aim at. From there it was a couldn't miss situation. He did though, because he hit it straight at Carson and at a decent height for a good save. I'm not saying that he isn't going to come good for us but time is running out for him I think. He should have been a regular starter by now so the omens don't look good for him. He is certainly no Trevor Aylott
Didnt think much of brown or bird in last nippers game. Bird ran out a bit ala perkins. Brown didnt seem to have that edge. Only one out the u23s worth a look is big Victor. Skillwise he isnt a patch on ugbo in terms of being pretty on the ball. What he is though is hungry raw and direct.
He did more in 10 minute then the rest of the midfield managed in 90 though. Not sure we should be writing him off so quickly.
