That still doesn't mean there won't be a budget. Gauthier Ganaye spoke the other week about how more of the surplus cash from transfer fee's received will be afforded to Hecky. The fact that we're not changing tact doesn't mean there's no money to spend. We'll have to wait and see I suppose.
I didn't imagine there wouldn't be any to spend. More that we'd be spending at the same level and shopping in the same places as before, which would be disappointing.
It's about getting the right players. I think they're out there, even in the market we're shopping in.
More than disappointing it would be tragic and a definite drop back to league 1. We need to be looking at talent from decent sides in league 1 as an absolute minimum now.
