I had trials for FC Gannetgobblers whilst living in a commune on the Faroe Islands. I was too much of a lightweight to make the grade so fed myself up on seal and whale blubber which made me the man I am today
I played football at a decent level but was not good enough to make pro , but that counts for nothing as Redarmychris told me yesterday that I know nothing about football , so please take any future comments about the game from me as purely irrelevant
I've won Champions league with Barnsley FC on Football Manager, took 6 years. I'm the greatest manager in World
I kept goal at a decent level until I decided to concentrate more on cricket. Had a trial for Rotherham at Maltby MW's ground but ****** it up 'cos I'm scared of dogs and they had bloomin' whippet racing on right behind the goals!
"Taking People Seriously" wins Ironic Heading Of The Year, when factoring in your other posts last night. Yet a proper man admits his mistakes (and his level of alcoholic consumption). Do we get an action replay tonight? Hope so.
Not me. I only played at North East Counties level of a works league. I've been an FA Qualified coach, now retired, since 1995 and played the game from being a 9 year School Boy in to my 50s and played my last Sunday Prem game in my 60s. So I obviously know nothing about the game. I have played with ex pros e.g Mark Smith and ex-England Internationals on FA Coaching Days. Now that was an experience.
No sorry, he's far too recent! That's a very random guess. I'm talking of course about the fantastic Richard Foulkes. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Foulkes
