    The state they are in coupled with the expectations of the fans. I can't think of a single reason he'd go for it. Even financially, he'd be unlikely to get time to build so (likely) would be sacked within a year and then having to find another club.

    The last speculation (Sunderland) surrounding Hecky coincided with results taking a big dip.
    Might have been a coincidence - but it must have been unnerving for the players.
    So Hecky needs to kill this latest speculation by saying he isn't going anywhere.

    In effect he has done , he does not have to make a statement to reply to every piece of journalism but if someone sticks a mike under his throat & asks the question , then I am sure he will reply to the question , but Notts forest currently have nothing to do with him & has no reason to comment

    The arrogance of the Forest fans on twitter is very, very frustrating. All assume that

    A) Hecky is very interested
    B) They are a gigantic step up from us
    C) They don't need to worry about getting him off us- they are such a bigger club its not in question
    D) Going in for the lowly Barnsley manager is the easy option and a huge step down for them as a club

    Also seen a fair few comments about how their financial backing is far superior to what we can offer.
