    Quality over quantity in key positions second half of the season.

    Yep exactly . think hecky is definitely been allowed to reorganise his squad and that can only be a good sign .
    Expecting new arrivals soon hopefully.

    Are you implying that wage budgets are grouped by position, rather than caps on an individual’s wage?

    If so, I’ve never thought of it like that, could be interesting

    No. I don’t know the details of the wage structure. It’s staying the same though.

    When I say key positions I mean the ones we need to strengthen.

    Thats how I read it. Same overall money spent on fewer players means room to pay more to incoming players of higher quality.

    No., but I realise that we seem to have a ceiling on wage payments. I was asking - God knows why - if that "structure" had been relaxed.

    Why the word "structure" is used here I do not know. Cos it doesn't seem to fit.

    "In any wage structure" means nowt specific to me.

    Sounds like someone's mixing up 'total wage budget' (staying the same) with 'wage structure' (will change in order to bring in a smaller number of higher quality, higher paid players).

    So we want better players than we presently have, but for the same wages?

    What a revolutionary concept - I bet nobody's ever thought of that.

    Yeah but that apparently doesn't mean fewer players (unless some are prepared to play for nothing -which I may have overlooked.)
