    I agree with that - his past record isn't really one to get excited about. I wasn't being picky. I just assumed you meant there was something within the article that made you doubt the signing, and I couldn't see anything obvious.

    He's a punt. Any striker under £1 million is going to be one. He's banged goals in for Rotherham this season. If he can build a relationship with our existing strikers he could be just what we need.
