Apparently played well for Yeovil in cup. described as a midfield enforcer with tough tackling and good eye for a pass when he signed new contract with us. Maybe shouldve stayed as back up to williams and this couldve been his chance to impress? Opinions?
Unfortunately we have enough up and coming young uns, in this division we need experience and now especially in that position.
I watched the Newport game on BBC Wales and the Shrewsbury game on BBC too. Two very entertaining games. Both Newport and Shrewsbury had some very impressive players in various positions.
Joe Williams seems to be a go to guy.. Im not sure he had any experience either in this league and he is young. For 3 games against opposition like wolves who we expect little against it mightve been worth putting a young talent of our own in there to see how they cope. If they struggle then thats why you got 3 subs to sort it out.. But you'll never know if theyll flourish without giving a chance. I believe I heard he had a great game against Spurs earlier in year and they had a strong side out
I think there’ll be a central midfielder coming in this week. Hope Bird gets plenty of games under his belt & continues to do well so he’s ready for next season
I happy with all you've said and not against it but the same 3 games we don't expect much from can be a bedding in period for players up to standard now to give us a better chance of survival this year and bird be a bit further on for next year.
