It's NOT because he's a smart dresser and looks the part. It's NOT because when you hear him speak that he talks sense (which makes a change to some managers we've had). It's NOT even because he comes from Barnsley. Nope - it's none of these things. I like him because under his management I have seen the best football - winning football - I've seen from a Barnsley team in decades. And he's done this with relatively little resources compared to other Championship clubs. And - I'm sure I'd have seen an attractive winning side again this season if the club in the summer was able to provide ALL the players needed for the Championship.
