    How good was he? I only really remember him for when he played for us and I don't remember him being much cop but then we did get promoted with him playing so maybe he wasn't too bad.

    What was he like at his peak?

    He was brilliant. Best left back I've ever seen play for us. A real legend who, even at that stage, was destined to remain at our club for a lifetime. Regardless of the odd tempting offer that may pop up. He's a left-footed version of His Royal Highness The Right Hon Admiral General Lord Bobinho of Hassell Esq.

    I remember one particular game at oakwell against Norwich when Darren huckerby gave him a right runaround and thinking to myself his legs had gone.

    I adored him. Went to Tranmere away when he scored and we won 1 nil. Week after I had the KP hairstyle he had. I am being deadly serious too.

    Huckerby was a class player though, tore us to shreds many times.

    Steady player. Struggled a bit when we got promoted under Ritchie, but did a good job during the run in to the play offs. Thought his best game for us was the play off final itself v Swansea.
