If he comes with a requirement to play him I don't mind him going elsewhere. Any player should be able to end up on the bench if they fail to perform.

I agree, but I can under understand why Liverpool would want some assurances about game time.
Does anybody know if we do anything similar when our lads go out on loan?

As I understand it the "fine" is probably just having to the lads wages in full. Where as if he plays the amount of games Liverpool want they subsidise his wage. This is what I was led to believe when he was here. Might be total ****** like.

    Very quick and skilful.

Great with both feet but lacked end product for us. Didn't really contribute many goals/assists with us and played 40 odd times. Doesn't look to have added many while in Germany either

His last 8-10 games he was brilliant for us. Great energy and pace. Would have him back in a shot. Game changer.

The term flatter to deceive was made for Ryan Kent.

40 odd games with few goals or assists for an attacking player who came highly regarded. Spent time in Germany and did nothing there too.

Johnson, Smith, Steele and now Kent. It's no wonder you're doing so well with so many of our rejects :)

Got better as the season went on for us.

At the start, seemed to want to beat his man just one too many times. Started to shine ironically when the rest of the team went to pot.

If this means you're not getting Watkins then you've ended up with at present a more inferior player. In my opinion anyway.

Yep definitely won't be getting both, think I'd prefer Watkins on a permanent deal rather than Kent on loan.

People forget that he is still a young lad & has not fully learned his trade yet , but he will do & I have no doubt he will go on to be a very good player & I think he would strengthen any championship squad

Just been told it's a done deal, if he plays or start a certain amount of games Liverpool will pay a big percentage of his wages if he doesn't play a certain amount of games we pay all his wages, fair enough really.

I think he is a good player & a good signing for you , what to lose ? He is another option & if it does not work out , so what , in the grand scheme of things, with the season you are having , if he costs Bristol a couple of bob it does not matter but he might just make a difference

He was very good in about 8 games and did bugger all for the rest of the season. Definitely a good player in there but nowhere near consistent enough at this level.
