Adeboyejo was impressed with his contribution in fact to say we played with 10 men the majority of the game the lads controlled the game up to the last 5 minutes or so . two moments of lapses arising from tired legs gave pompy their chances and they took them well . Townsend was only called into the game on two occasions ... both goals ...and in my opinion should and could have done better, Credit to the way we set up ...up to that last 5 minutes we held our shape dealt with any threats played well together has a team , well done the 10 men a very enjoyable game
Totally agree. How that game was lost I don't know, dominated for 85 mins despite being down to 10 and should have been out of sight. Every Barnsley player performed well with the midfield and attack creating chance after chance that a combination of poor finishing and great saves meant they came to nothing. I can see 2 or 3 of these being involved on Saturday unless signings are made this week.
