    Is that seriously true? I always wondered why it was so relatively far from the pitch. Although in that case why not just lengthen the pitch anyway?

    The official size for a champions league standard pitch is 105*68 metres but Chelsea's and Liverpool's pitches are both too small but get away with it. A field is almost identical size to ours, it's just 1 yard longer and the same width but in theory doesn't meet the rules
