During evidence at his trial for molesting young players, one of the witnesses giving evidence has claimed that senior personnel at Manchester City knew he was committing offences against young players and chose not to take any action.It's emerged that four players he has coached have all subsequently taken their own lives. It turns out that at some point he coached the young Gary Speed who tragically ended his own life in 2011. If convicted, Bennell should never ever see the light of day ever again.
They have not yet been named. You have to feel for all the families involved. Gary Speeds parents have said because they didn't know the reason behind his suicide, they could never have closure. What a tradegy for all involved.
