I could list O’Neil Thompson, Goren Lovre, Dominick Werling, El Hamouir, Mido, Miguel Mostto, Suad filekovic, Jeronimo Neuman or even good old Georgie H, as recent examples of terrible overseas signings. Wouldn’t prove we shouldn’t buy from abroad either.

 

I suppose it might even be more slightly exciting if you've never heard of the player before.
