We will know who we have signed and who we haven't. No rumours. No real or imagined sightings. No second-hand or incomplete information which may or may not turn out to have any basis in reality. But for those missing the drama, Emmerdale will be on most weekday nights!
On current showing, with european unknowns knocking us back, we'll probably be on the road south and heading back down to league one this time next week
I might have to do a flounce if it gets too bad. I've never flounced before. There's a few on here who can give me some tips on how to do it though.
There must have been times many in the past when transfers have broken down at the last minute because of one reason or another. Everyone at the club would have been disappointed, but because news had not leaked, that was as far as it got. The fact is that this one was built up amongst the fans because it leaked. The down side of leaking is now clear. There is more and wider disappointment, and some of those who are disappointed want to criticise and blame. Time to have a rethink perhaps.
people are criticising because despite the new ownership we seem to be following the same path as the past few windows and look like we are going to end up relying on loans which in the words of Hecky means we've failed and are fire fighting again.
I wish that they would close the window and make the summer the only time that players could be transferred.
I can see the thinking behind limiting transfers to stop teams getting cherry picked by those further up the food chain as last January showed it doesn’t always work.
Mate and me were saying the very same. Competing is hard enough without having your team depleted mid season.
Yes Chris lol. But you must admit, massively underwhelming January. Getting knocked back by young French unknowns into the bargain. Really don't think we have enough quality right now to stop up. Bottom three Saturday night when Fulham beat us. That's where we'll stay without at least 4 quality signings for me.
