99% certain Barnsley FC are ******* up another transfer window just need a last minute I want a transfer from someone like Lindsey and a load of loans of kids from Chelsea to make us feel at home
At the start of the window I felt that we could do with strengthening the following areas:- 1. Goalkeeper 2. Central midfield 3. Winger (x2) 4. Striker (x2) We’ve had a bid rejected for Eastwood and I’m sure that we’ll go back in for him. We’ve had a bid accepted for Knassmüllner and offered terms to the player. He’s clearly biding his time in the hope that a bidding war will ensue resulting in him getting a better deal whether it be for his current side or elsewhere. We had a bid accepted for Manzala but the move fell through for whatever reason. Nobody knows what happened on that front. We’ve signed the left back from Córdoba and got the deal for Moore over the line. PH has also said that we’ve missed out on players who’ve chosen to go elsewhere. Had the deals mentioned above actually materialised then we’d be looking at quite a successful window with moves for the likes of Mahoney and/or Barnes still in the offing. It seems like we’ve been so close on occasion this window and it could all quickly change in the coming days. One thing for sure is that moaning, directing abuse at GG and slating the club won’t have any impact whatsoever. Whatever will be, will be.

The OP says that the club is ******* up another transfer window. I think it’s impossible to say who’s at fault for the deals that haven’t yet gone over the line or the deals that have collapsed. We don’t have enough information and aren’t privy to the inner workings of the club so as far as we know the club could be doing absolutely everything within their power to bring players in. The season doesn’t end on 1 February and as I’ve said on another thread I don’t think that we’ll go down regardless of how this window pans out. That being said I do think we’ll be busy between now and Wednesday night.
