Did you go today? I know the answer, don't bother, Im not a "you're not allowed an opinion if you're not a season ticket holder" type, but i suspect you didn't go, and I do not see any point in engaging with someone on the performance today who wasn't even there, pathetic.
Just for clarity too this was YOUR post at 7.25 Can't disagree with any of the points made. Including about the Fulham fans. First half we were in cruise control really until Cavare's head went. It just unravelled from there really. We do look to be improving but we are desperately short of quality in certain positions at the momento . I just hope that in the next few days we can rectify that somewhat. Huge blow losing Pinnock for a period too. He's been excellent recently. Today at 7:25 PMReport Like Mseems a strange change of opinion,
Ridiculous thread. If there was one match in which you could say that Hecky got it right and was let down by his players, then it was today
This was my point. If and it's a big IF, he didn't put the team together then I will stand corrected and he shouldn't be held accountable. The people who put the team together is at fault because they are not good enough at this level.
I'm an idiot for having an opinion? Most people on Twitter have had enough as well, we can't go on like this.
I really don't get this view that 1 person is somehow solely responsible for the squad. Scouts, recommendations, data, all play a part, surely? I also don't believe for one second, that Hecky isn't involved. I'd be amazed if he didn't at least have the final say, or at least give a signing his blessing. I'm pretty sure whenever i've heard Hecky talk about recruitment, he's said he wants other people dealing with it so he can focus on coaching - but that ultimately he's involved in approving every signing.
Most people on Twitter appear to have the brain cell of an amoeba. That’s what 140 characters does for an opinion I guess.
I think he does have the final say. He also picks these players every week and for the past few weeks he's got it wrong in my opinion.
There's over a quarter of the population of the planet on Twitter. Must be nice to be in the bracket of people with brain cells like you though.
And you follow how many? More importantly how many follow you for your sage observations? Have a word and work out what happened today. We were the better team
The defending on Fulhams 1st 2 goals was shocking and had **** all to do with us being down to 10 men.
Yeah but he's still picking from a weaker pool of players. There is just no way we can compete financially, with most Championship clubs. That's not meant as a criticism either, it's just a fact. Meanwhile, Hecky has had to rebuild probably 3 squads now. For me that's unsustainable. I personally don't think there's a manager out there, who could do better with the budget and squad we have.
The all round play for 45 minutes was excellent and had nothing to do with being the better team against the form team in the league. See, it’s easy.
