Who exactly was that aimed at, the ten outfield players that tried their knackers off, thiam or cavare who were back in the changing rooms or hecky who got his tactics spot on until cavare went leet?
    I find it ******* ridiculous

I booed at the end and it was at the whole situation. Our form is mingining.

To me, it felt more like booing of the officials combined with disappointment that we didn't get the points on Patrick's Day. Some, I'm sure, were booing one or more players.

I hoped it was aimed at the ref rather than the players who, Cavare and Thiam aside, deserved applause in my opinion.

I don't boo but you can understand the frustration after the debacle at the end yesterday.

And did you think that helped such as Moore, Pearson, Lindsay etc that up until eventually being worn out held an in form play off chasing team with 10 men. People on here have questioned Yiadom’ commitment, the lad worked his conkers off and got abused and booed for his troubles. Would you even consider a new contract at your place of work in that scenario?

I got the impression it was at the ref, he'd been poor all game and their 3rd goal shouldn't have stood due to the blatant push on our player at the Ponty end of the pitch. Once he'd wandered off it turned into applause for the players who barring one or two obvious candidates had tried their hardest.

No, but it's unnaceptable and the only way I felt to express my concerns were to boo. I pay for my season ticket and have as much right to boo than those who clap.

I have sympathy for sides on this, however, each booer will be going home ~£25 lighter and each recipient of the boos will be going home several thousand richer, so I'm sure they'll draw some comfort from that.

Thing is, and I didn’t boo, but I’ve found the reaction of the fans as a man sent off in a winning position was always going to end in a loss extremely frustrating. Lots of teams win with 10 men. Just look at Bristol City yesterday. In fact when the opposition goes down to 10 men against us i usually get nervous because we seem to struggle with the increased efforts that usually invokes. I think the remaining 10 performed ok but all culpability for the loss is not on cavare. Those 10 were still on the pitch to concede 3 goals.

Most of it was aimed at the whole daft situation.
Barnsley dominated - and managed to lose 1-3 - because of one ridiculous event which the referee could have handled better.
But some idiots decided that it was Heckys and Yids fault - so we had scuffles with these two involved along the edge of the West Stand after the game.

In my opinion - there were lots of positives from that match.

People have a right to boo, but I've never understood how it is supposed to help. What does it achieve? As far as I can see it only makes things worse.

Probably makes no difference at the final whistle.

I think it does. It causes arguments between players and fans (apparently Yiadom and Hammill got involved yesterday, but I've no idea what provoked it). It must have a demoralising effect on players who have (mostly) worked their ****** off only to be undone just 2 minutes short of the target. It puts off potential new signings who may not want that level of abuse if they have other options.

It's all fine lines, I realise that, but I simply don't see the point in it. But people still have the right to do it, I accept that.

I thought except for a couple of exceptions we played one of our best games of the season yesterday so on that basis I have no idea why people booed. Now if Thiam had beeen our in tbe stocks I’d have chucked mouldy tomatoes at him but that’s a different matter.

I've only been to 3 games thus season due to circumstances at home and I've booed after and during each one sometimes at the ref but mostly at our team of ineptitudes

    Booing doesn’t help anything.

People might have paid their money and consider they have the right to boo, but what is the point exactly? Do they gain some form of gratification from it?

It just demoralises the team even further, when we should do doing everything we can to support the team.
