I don’t think that’s strictly the case. When quantifying the wealth of our club people are simply adding together the individual wealth of the shareholders and coming to a commutative figure. I don’t think that’s an accurate way of assessing the wealth of the club at all as that’s assuming, quite erroneously, that each indivudual can/will invest 100% of their wealth in the club.
If you don't think the CEO is to blame for the state of the squad - and I'd agree if you did - who do you think is responsible?
That’s an absolutely impossible question considering that we aren’t privy to the makeup of the recruitment team.
That's his job. I'm pretty sure the CEO isn't allowed to pass judgement on targets and signings and I'm certain he's not also doubling up as a scout. If you want someone to blame it's the chief scout and the manager that should probably be in the firing line.
How? You're laying the blame of our downfall at the feet of our CEO? He only crosses the t's and dotts the i's when he is told to.
I do not blame any individual , I think if mistakes are made in the formation or structure of the squad , then as a club , recruitment strategy should be reviewed with a view to being improved , but I do not think fans pointing the finger of blame at individuals & constantly berating the same person without really having a clue what goes on behind the scenes is bang out of order
