Interesting that Most of the teams around us, which are the ones that matter, have done very little or no incoming transfers. I don't get discrediting your own team by making stuff up to suit your argument. It's a bit **** in all honesty.
Hecky said he wanted signings not loans... But would take loans before missing out. The French winger came over but tuned us down last week. This week loan comes in ..... simple
No. He proved last season that he's a good defender at this level so why would we want to sell a player who can command a first team place so cheaply.
You are new to this board & from your posts I presume that Barnsley are not the team you follow & have come on here for the wind up
This ^^^. Talk about throw away society. Couple of bad games after being an absolute rock last season and people want to get rid, unbelievable.
let him go if the price is £1.5mil upwards. at the end of the day it frees up more cash to bring in an adequate replacement if we can get them through the door. no point keeping him when he's not adapted to this league and he simply isn't good enough. it's a no brainer
what's to review. he was good last season cos Roberts carried him through it. and if we can increase our profit 10 fold and make money to invest in better potential and make sure we stay within the ffp. we have a lot of centre backs and he's unfit. and if someone wants to take him were stupid not to sell. he's not good enough for this division
That’s clearly not the only reason. We have some of the most fickle and unforgiving fans in the world it’s embarrassing at times.
I'm not knocking the lad. he gives his all. but pinnock Jackson Lindsay and even Pearson are all better defenders. there's no point holding on to a player that isn't fit nor experienced enough to captain our club. he's shown commitment and done a job but there are others in front of him and I don't think he improves js
If the price is right I'd sell he is 4th choice center back for me this season. Had a good season last season mind. Only problem is with selling that would leave us with 2 fit center backs lindsay and pearson.
Id take it. Started poor this season. Not really a captain for me. Multiple games I saw aggression from him in wrong ways such as arguing with other teams players from small things and then the red card came. Guess he needed roberts to hold his hand..
exactly what I've said pal. he's shown determination. but there's 4 lads who get into the team before him. if hull are wanting him and we can make money on him it's a no brainer.
Agreed. He's still a bit of growing up to do as a player. His sending off against blunts earlier in the season was just silliness. Lindsay and Pinnock are both streets ahead in terms of composure, and Jackson and Pearson both seem to have better temperament. If he doesn't sort that out, he's going to be sent off quite a bit over his career.
