    Explain please.
I've identified a potential problem at the club.
This is not an off the cuff opinion - this opinion has been formed after listening CLOSELY to what Hecky has said in interviews from last summer.

I know I've banged on about this and got on some people's nerves - but if you are a fan of Barnsley it cannot be said loud enough what this problem is - because it could see us relegated.

I've had some pressure put on me by Admin because of those strong views.
Admin are currently only showing my posts when they have looked at them.

My comments about this transfer window will be given on here or on the other place after the window closes - when we know exactly what we have got.

Just still got to believe the other targets will drop.

At around 5 o’clock there were no transfer targets at the club.

The French lad and his agent had left without signing.

That’s the most recent update I’ve had.

I can't believe some of the stuff I'm reading tonight. It's as if people welcome actually want bad things to happen to justify their constant bellyaching.

4 players in, 4 hours to get some more over the line and it's never enough.

I wouldn’t blame him, but there are some clubs out there that would be a big risk for him

On the flip side I’ve seen posts saying that they hope we sign nobody just to see the meltdown on here. Which is probably a worse position given the impact of not doing anything

I'm actually pleased we are sticking to our guns, and not letting greedy players dictate play.
Offers on the table agreed, they walk out the room, come back in and say we want more!!!!!!. (fact) we don't deal like that in Barnsley, jog on.
I'm not going to lose sleep if we stay up or go down, it's not Cancer!!!!!.
Just look down the road, 10 million quid, 65k a week, he's proved his worth!!!!!!!.

Championship or First Division, once a Red always a Red!!!, COYR in Heckywetrust#

Could it not just be that it is a bit more difficult to get foreign transfers over the line

    Especially for young lads

It’s a big decision for them. Therefore more volatile.

That would make a bit more sense to me......

Why not look at someone like Ben Hamer at Leicester... Always been a decent keeper, older heads not so much a problem in a GK..

Maybe there is no offer on the table anymore? Plenty of questions need to be answered by PH for me

RAC gets worried about Jisus Crist coming round to duff him up. So no need to be very worried.

    What is your problem?

    It’s a discussion thread.

It’s literally about opinions and what people’s thought and feeling are on the Hecky contract issue.

All you do is follow me around the thread trying to pull me down. Put some constructive for once.

I'm just literally discussing like we all are.

Only trying to be helpful - no need to be worried.

    Or .......is there?

You pull my comments down all the never and it’s never about the actual football.

Why not just give an opinion on why you feel Hecky may have not signed the contract yet.

There’s a never ending list of reasons so you’ve got plenty to go at. What I’ve suggested in this thread is just one of them and it’s relevant as he wanted players at the start of the window yet is been made to wait until literally the last few hours.

Agree completely! Think it’s people being sucked in to the sky driven circus and the football manager experience of football clubs.

Some people at work took the day off to watch the transfer deadline. Think there were about 5 deals done by end of the day. Sure they had a blast!

Well I'm not sure about what our manager may or may not have signed, because I'm not a party to any of it.

Neither I suspect are you. As and when facts emerge about this topic then I may chip in.

For now I'm at liberty to dip my toe into the shark infested BBS waters as and when I please, till the management say otherwise.

That's worse than watching paint dry. It's like watching paint AFTER it's dried!
