Needs to be a busy 65 minutes coming up to replace the squad that has been depleted for the second January running. A squad that was barely keeping its head above water to start with. 5 incomings needed just to make the numbers back to what the club considered an adequate squad size 4 months ago.

 

Might be better doing that again after 11?

Aye, if that's the way of looking at it that suits your agenda. Alternatively, you'd say that Walton, Bird, Kay and Mottley-Henry weren't part of the first team squad, so we're one down, with a stong indication that at least one will arrive in the next couple of hours.

I'd also debate whether the squad was 'waifer thin' to start with. It lacked quality, but not numbers.

That said, I'd hoped we'd see more obvious quality and experience arrive.

 

Can't see five signing in the next hour, just to have the same size squad as we did at start of the month.

Looking better but I think we are desperate for a keeper and unless someone comes in i think that sending mottley-henry out could be this January's equivalent of shipping Payne out last season forcing us to play Armstrong every week through lack of options.

 

Do not get you point about Mottley- Henry who is a winger , when we have Hammel , Isgrove , Hedges & Mahoney for the flanks
