Hi there everyone - first time poster but I have been an avid reader of the bulletin forum for many years. I was born in Cawthorne but moved down to Surrey and have lived here ever since.

Me and my partner went on a wonderful camping and sailing holiday last summer to Austria. I persuaded my partner to go to some football games and witnessed Christopher playing he really was a wonderful player and I wish him all the best for the barnsley reds.

    George Spicer.

    Welcome George, great to hear!

I took my wife on a camping trip to France last year and managed to fulfill a life long dream by watching RC Lens Reserves. During the second half non other than Thomas Ephestion booted a stray ball into the stand with such force that when it hit my wife she was knocked unconscious. Suffice to say I'm glad we've not signed him

All the best and welcome to the forum

Previously, we've been signing our new players on three year deals. Strange we've only offered Knasmullner
a two and a half year deal.!

Reminds me of a sight I'll never forget, away at Stockport (I think) in the late 90s. At Edgeley Park, if that's where it was, the disabled supporters sat right at the front down one byline, and at one point Adie Moses was chasing a long ball and decided to completely leather it out of play, straight into the mush of one poor wheelchair-bound soul about 10 feet away from him at about 100 mph. Now bear in mind I was about 13 here so this was among the funniest things I'd ever seen at a football ground, but it got better as this person then tipped backwards in slow motion, and their centre of gravity must have juuuuust gone over the tipping point of their chair. Two seconds later all you could see was a pair of legs sticking up above the advertising hoardings. If I saw that now I'd be a lot more compassionate but luckily for me I was a self-centred teenager with zero empathy so I could just bask in the hilarity of the scene. Happy days.

Look at the calendar - half a season this season plus two more. Makes perfect sense to me. No point in having a player out of contract in January.

Sounds like a scene from a good cartoon. I'm laughing thinking about it and I wasn't even there.

On a similar theme whenever I see clips of Forest Green matches I wonder how many of their fans down the side opposite the cameras get hit with the ball on match days. Those down at the front are at pitch level with no protection whatsoever.

Is it wrong that even as a fully mature adult I'd still really laugh at that.....obviously if said person wasn't badly hurt

When skiing in a group, every now and again someone (except me) falls down, and sometimes at speed it can look pretty bad. When it happens there's always an uneasy silence for a few seconds, as we need to be sure that he's not hurt before we start laughing our ****** off.

Not wrong at all. Who hasn't been smacked in the face with a football at some time in their life, either playing the game or standing just to one side of the goal at the Ponty End? It happened to me in both situations, but only once behind the goal. Stung a bit as well, and the player didn't even come to check if I was alright, which he could have done seeing as it was the warm up before kick off and it was in the days when there were only a few hundred of us at that end.

Knasmullner played in the same Bayern Munich II team as Dale Jennings. Whilst he was there he was usccesfully not eaten by him.
