just been for a wonderful long walk and as I was foraging for tea it got me thinking what a hugely talented squad of boys we have at oakwell.

I’ve really enjoyed young Liam’s performances at the back this year and he looks a real gem of a find. He’s probably my favourite player at the moment if only for his tremendous potential that may see him go all the way to the top

    What does everyone else think?

    Thanks in advance, George.

Perhaps not the best player but I’m a big fan of Bradshaw. Puts the effort in. Runs himself into the ground. Seems a great lad.

Mine's already Knasmullner by miles, despite never having seen him play. His name is as incredible as his goalscoring record, and he's a stylish looking lad to boot. I could easily imagine effortlessly him pulling off the leather trousers look.

Hmmm, how was your tea? Toasted muffins with lashings of hot butter? A splendid cake?

My favourite player is Adam Hammill.

Toasted muffins with hot butter would be a seriously impressive tea obtained from foraging.

Then off home for a smashing chapter or two of Enid Blyton or H Rider Haggard

It's really tough to single out a favourite from Liam, Adam, Andy & Joe over this season.
They're all talented and give their all for the shirt, but it's the greatest feeling when it's like watching Brazil because of the team effort.
For those exciting & 'sparky' times, it's another vote for Hammill from me :)

I have a few favourites to be fair.

Attacking wise I like Bradshaw and Isgrove. Bradshaw works so hard for us, literally never stops all game, and has bagged goals too. Isgrove seems to give us something extra, a boost of some sort. I just wish he’d stay fit!

Defensively, Lindsay has been great this season and will definitely be our next “big sale” in my opinion. I like Yiadom too, he’s such a well rounded full back. Shame that we’ve only got a few months left of watching him.

I love Izzy. I was so happy when he resigned for us, having never giving up home from the day he left us. He just never knows when to give up and wins things he has no right to do.
