I will get slated for posting this. Couldn’t care less. His selection today was beyond a joke. 2 wins in 23 games? Jesus Christ. We will & deserve to go down.

 

When do we start to question the manager ? Are we allowed to ?

 

Selection has been a joke all season good to see not everyone is a happy clapper

Hard to think of another manager anywhere ever that's been given more money in a new contract, off the back of that sort of run.

 

Hecky has got a 'Get Out Of Jail' card because of what he's done in the past.
But given a week or two with these new players he must start to get results.

 

We have a poor team. We recruited poorly in tbe summer. It was idiotic to get ourselves in a position where we needed to sign a whole new team and have every single signing work. Heckingbottom is doing as well as can be expected in almost impossible circumstances. We are clearly a bottom 3 side and aren’t in the bottom 3.

 

We’ve bought players from pub league so unless we have Jesus as our manager we are likely to struggle against the rich clubs

 

Heckys smoking the fat one just now after signing a new contract. For me, he began to lose the plot when Tommy Wright got the boot, think it was tommy who knew how to get the best out of a bad bunch, not heckingbottom.

 

Let’s give the new lads chance to settle in and see what they can do

 

Heckys doing a good job. Shut up mate. He has done nothing right in terms of his team selection and tactics. And guess what. Thats his job. People like you sticking up for him cos hes 'one of our own' are the ones keeping him in a job anand sending us down.

 

So we put maybe Mallan in the middle. Do we win? What other changes? Maybe Hedges starts do we win?

 

Think if we lose next week then the fans will really turn on the team. A must admit I’m fed up watching defeat after defeat it’s demoralising.

 

In most other seasons this side would be rock ******* bottom. It’s truly that bad. That isn’t Hecky’s fault. He’s not blameless of course and makes mistakes.

 

Mallan didn't put a foot wrong and was dropped for today. He is brilliant grom set pieces and putting deliveries in. With a big lad up top its what we need.

 

How come practically all the wise sages on here were saying that we'd improve as the season progressed?

That all they needed was time to gel?

I can't recall anyone posting how crap the squad was, that they were the worst squad in the league, and that we were gonna be lucky not to finish bottom.

 

I agree surprised he was dropped. But would that really have got us the win? I would like to know why he made this change, but I still think it's a struggle. Our whole midfield is poor. We have tried to correct that in Jan but it may not work. We have one of the lowest wage budgets in the league. We have lower league players trying to cut it in the championship. I don't know why we have this reaction when we lose.

 

Iim sticking up for him because he had been given an impossible job. Set up a new championship team with players from Luton and forest Green with no experience at that level. Alex Ferguson said 30-40 percent of transfers are successful. We got ourselves in a situation where we were buying completely untested players and needed everyone to come off immediately. It was a recipe for disaster. Hecky is a young manager learning the game and making good and bad decisions. If we manage to stay up with this side they should build a statue of him outside the town hall. We have lots of players who aren’t good enough. Other than Yiadom and Lindsay none of today’s side would get in any team outside the bottom 3. They aren’t good enough individually or collectively.
