You dont know why we have this reaction when we lose. Its because we are all fans. The manager is not making the right selections. We go down without a fight. We arent scoring goals. We will finish bottom.

 

I’ve been saying we recruited a L1 team and will probably get relegated since the summer. People put a lot of faith in ‘getting better’ because they wanted it to be true not because it was likely to be true.

I’ve thought it all season. Was always going to be a case of can we get enough players good enough often enough, quickly enough to stay up. The answer at the min is just about.

The recruitment process was delusional at best. I won’t say anymore about it.

Folks claiming all we needed was time were trying to be positive is the best I can suggest. Whilst ignoring the turnover of players The Plan ️ has had to get the few good enough.

The problem is Hecky has been dealt a **** hand thanks to the “plan”. We are still trying to gel a team together and we are over half way through the season!

While am not happy with results lately I do believe that Hecky has been potentially influential in the new players coming into the club so he deserves the chance to work with them. However I do believe that he does himself no favours by having favourites when selecting his team who are clearly out of form, as well as picking players out of position and making some baffling substitutions. I think it is a massive season and will come down to 3 worse teams than us, I fully expect huge changes within the club in the summer if we stay up both in players and staff, and while that may include a change in the manager, for now I think we all need to be fully behind Hecky, the staff and players. COYR !!

I'd say the exact opposite is true. What we lack in quality we don't lack in effort. They are giving it everything they have, hard work won't make up for ability. Pick the fitest 11 blokes you can find in the stand they will fight all day.

I genuinely didn't see any lack of effort there at all today. Just a complete lack of any idea how to break down a standard Championship defence.
