That's what I see most weeks we just don't have goals in us. The additions this week are a attempt to address that. If it fails we may well go down.
I remember I used the term relegation fodder after sheff u away and i was shot down on here. It was in the heat of the moment I used that particular terminology but it was painful obvious then we lacked quality/ability and were just a hard working side.
That’s my view as well, the efforts there but the quality isn’t showing . But while ever the efforts there we ha e a chance cos once that goes ;?;
Of course we have a chance we only need to finish above 3. Hopefully the additions will help. As long as the effort is there they will have my support. The coach and the players are doing the best they can.
There is but it’s not showing Hammill, Gardner,Williams,Pinnock and hopefully Mills if his attitudes right have all got quality imo Ps Add Yiadom to that list
Therein lies the problem; only one of those players you name with supposed quality is an attacking player.
We probably will. But attempts have indeed been made to address that. Despite our abysmal record, we've never really looked out of our depth, and that's a positive sign. Defensively we're reasonably sound. If we start scoring a bit more regularly, we'll stay up. It's just that pinning all our hopes on McBurnie and Knasmullner is a very big "if". Not because I doubt their ability. I just think it's a massive ask for them to come into what is a very high pressure situation, and hit the ground running at what is, when all's said and done, a very high level of football.
That's been our problem. We haven't looked too bad at the back. Attacking midfield and upfront we've looked poor. I can't get this theme of Bradshaw being good enough but not getting the service. Last season Winnall stepped up a division. Bradshaw's a great worker but he isn't good enough as a goalscorer. He doesn't get into the positions.
Sadly, that's about the size of it. He's very often a toenail short of a tap in. Moore and McBurnie up front for me next week.
we have had ateam of boys that have no experience being led by a boy of a manager with no experience Hecky has no technical experience or knowledge He needs an experienced Manager to learn from again how lucky is he to get a new contract ,I bet he glad he signed yesterday and not tomorrow because I think things are going to be very different. A problem is that the owners don't see for them selves living all over the world I would have a bet they don't see us more than once or twice a year .....lets face it they are only in it for the money
