Free agent, left Sunderland end of last season. Wonder why he didn't get snapped up somewhere.. Maybe injury prone or summat...
I think it's because of this: And given he's coined at West Ham, I doubt he'd fit into our wage structure. Source: http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/02/0...to-reports-of-post-deadline-move-for-jan-kir/
The words "utility player" always worry me. Can often play in a number of positions without excelling in any single one.
Brian McCord always got beaten with the utility player stick. Although it never turned out too badly for Steve nicol.
Stuart Gray played midfield, full back, central defence and striker for us. In fact, the only position that he played where he didn't score was as striker. Bobby Hassell played as right back, left back, central defender, midfielder and goalkeeper.
Phil Gridelet. Excelled in whatever position he was asked to play. He did the simple stuff so well you barely even noticed he was on the pitch.
Surprised that nobody else "got it". Especially disappointed in one of resident electronic engineers @Farnham_Red
Sorry Skiing at the moment and only glancing occasionally at the BBS so missed this thread otherwise I may have groaned at your original
