So lower league journeyman as a player but has been in coaching for a good few years.

 

Let’s hope he can do better with the first team than the under 23’s

 

Sounds like a certain man in Manchester.

 

He's very different to PH. He'll have no problems criticising a player during a match and calling them out for poor performance after the game.

Players in 23s love playing for him.

 

His job to lose I'd say..

I have the opinion that it’s the opposite. He sets the 23s up in a very negative manner, almost clueless at times. Won’t have the respect of the first team

I hope he's not a glorified PE teacher type

 

U23 results are completely meaningless this season - the best players in the squad either go to the first team, or on loan. And we often have trialists.

About as useful as friendlies if looking purely at results.

He’s got the gig for now. Let’s give him and the team as much support on Saturday - his team talk is written for him, it’s a local derby, Wednesday are as out as form as we are. Let’s go for them.
