    Agreed. I'm in vancouver atm and dealing with this $hit at 4am!

    Thinking about my 30 years as a dyed in the wool, thick and thin supporter, this is the lowest, most disillusioned I can remember feeling. Even more than Danny leaving for Wednesday. Time's a healer and i'll move on eventually. But right now I feel angry, betrayed and lied to. I also feel a bit fcukin stupid, for buying into all the statements, quotes and defending certain situations to the hilt...which now are very obviously all just b0llocks.

    My sense of unwavering trust and loyalty have taken a massive hit today. I feel physically sick, and angry at myself for it!

    12 months ago, we were a Club owned, captained and managed by barnsley.

    We're now a commoditised business, changed beyond recognition, with little to no apparent affinity to the town.

    Two things to say to that:-

    1. Don't let it spoil your holiday.

    2. We have new owners. We have to put a bit of faith in them and see what their intentions are and what they are capable of. Let's give them a chance and it could be the start of a new era.

    No need to apologise. Most of us are guilty of letting our emotions get the better of us on here. I can be as big a ****** as anyone when I'm in the wrong frame of mind.

    We all say things on here we'd never say in person. If we having a debate in the pub we'd still disagree but we would all be a damn sight more polite about it.

    I don't wanna hear from him, his standing in the community just took a nose dive. Wonder if a house move was thrown in with the grubby 18 month deal? 99.9% of Barnsley folk won't abuse him, but doubt doors will be held open for him.

    What can he say. If and when his new club release an interview, it will be full of all the usual PR arse licking and just wind everyone up further. I'm hoping they've agreed not to do that in the circumstances.

    That's a very good point. In the depths of disagreeing with/abusing/ignoring you I've often wondered what would happen if me, thee and Redstar sat round a table in a pub and consumed numeous pints. I think we should try it one day.

    I think I saw you that day but avoided you because you were moaning about the hand dryers not working......

    Don't do pre-match beer these days as I'm busy putting out the flag in the west stand. Would be good though, to be honest I think most of us on here are decent lads and lasses, it's just that emotion takes over at times.

    Thats half the problem.

    Fans should be allowed to dream and expect.

    The way weve gone on for years is a constant stream of lowering expectation to the fact we should be grateful for just being a club. Never mind what division we are in.
