Absolutely no idea. So went with the lad Leeds sacked! Hope to Christ GG and Board have a better idea and can implement a plan quickly. The fact they don’t seem to have any contingency or continuation plan is somewhat worrying.
We don’t know if they have a contingency plan, or anything planned for that matter. Just need to cut the club a little slack here and at least be patient in the short- term.
Hopefully they do. Perhaps reading a bit too much into the “shocked” element of the statement. They’ll have my full support as will whoever they employ. This is their first real test in my eyes to show where they see the football club going. It’s an opportunity.
How do you know there’s no continuation plan? And if it turns out there wasn’t, I think we can cut them a bit of slack given that they’d just secured the manager on a new contract.
Good shout , but being as Wigan could potentially be swapping places with us, I cannot see him being interested
I hope there is, but there seems just absolute shock he’s gone. Every business if well run has a contingency plan. As I said. I hope there is, and will tell me much about their competency to take our club forward. I’m only expressing a slight concern from what little has come out from the club. Get the right man in and it could be a kick start to keep us safe.
Worried that a foreign coach may take too long to acclimatise to the league. My choice would be Alexander - not seen him on any lists.
Hurst for me. Doing great things down here in Shrewsbury. Worked his way up. Knows the lower leagues. Has one of the fittest squads in the division and they play proper football
