from our favourite cryptic man in the know. " he's Portuguese, he's in the betting between 20 and 40/1,he's not on Sky bet" It all points to Paulo Sousa. He's Portguese,he's 33/1 with Betvictor but not on the Sky bet betting list.Easy in't it.
It could be any Portuguese coach or manager operating absolutely anywhere on the planet. I didn’t see people spouting up with the likes of Jack Ross, Paul Simpson etc when PH left the club so I think that just goes to show how wide we are casting the net.
He hasn't been mentioned on any radio or newspaper web sites as far as I know. Its only a bit of fun by the way.
Would be worried if someone at the club is passing on information such as who is on management shortlist’s and then the receiver of that information is actually using that information to place bets. Sounds like it’s thin ice. Especially then posting on forums they intend to make money from said information.
Haha!! On a serious note the club have a serious issue if they are letting information like this out to people to bet on it. This is an active betting market. It’s highly sensitive information.
Highly sensitive information No ones giving out bank details or national insurance numbers. You best contact Radio Sheffield and Nixon to stop reporting on it if it’s worrying you so much. Since Nixon reported on the Portuguese coach Rui Almeida has gone from 28/1 to 9/4 due to people putting money on it. In fact why don’t you start a petition in attempt to stop all media outlets reporting any transfer and managerial news they get from club sources. That way you won’t have to worry anymore. EVERY bit of information that comes out of any club comes from a source (unless it’s made up). The only information that gets out is information the club allow out.
Yes it's a very dodgy situation. Inside information to profit from betting markets could land the club in serious trouble. If it didn't matter a jot, then GG would be down his local Ladbrokes sticking his life savings on.
