Just been watching him play for Ross County, got subbed. Longest spell of his career was with us, but if rejected a new deal to go to Coventry, and it's been downhill ever since for him. We must really have been offering peanuts if Coventry could give him a better deal, given the state they've been in for some time.
Tried his hardest every game, would put in 110% effort into every time he played and was a very likeable person as well as a player. A proper character on and off the pitch. However, sadly he was never really good enough at championship level and was part of that side that took us down, so I can’t say I was too sad to see him go. But he did leave the fans a rather pleasant message when he announced he was leaving so can’t fault him for that. Don’t think he left for money reasons was more to do with wanting a new challenge if I remember correctly, which you can’t really knock him for after season he endured prior.
Can’t fault him. Gave his all, was good with the fans & got the best out of his ability. Also remember him filling in at right back in that legendary game at Huddersfield & doing a decent job. Ultimately he was probably league one standard but I can’t knock the bloke
Saw him in town not long back. He still lives here. He said BFC only offered him a 1 year deal. He wanted 2 so he moved. Simple as that
He was alright.. the wiggle wer ***** tho... Wonder if they sold any of them t-shirts, weren't they great
He got offered less at cov mate. He was never a money man, he went as he was offered a bigger squad role.
