    I don’t get it either. I wouldn’t make that kind of joke, drunk or not but I get that drink makes people say silly things. His remarks since though are wearing away the goodwill I was extending based on previous reputation. Even if nothing racist was intended, he’s not reading the situation very well.

    That thread was completely harmless banter and offended no one.

    You are making what he said seem insignificant by trying to poke fun at me through another blokes racial slur.

    Racism will never be ‘light banter or jokey’.

    Gets away with it due to it being out of character but then brings it back up twice in separate threads. Both times making jokes about it.
