I don’t get it either. I wouldn’t make that kind of joke, drunk or not but I get that drink makes people say silly things. His remarks since though are wearing away the goodwill I was extending based on previous reputation. Even if nothing racist was intended, he’s not reading the situation very well.

Agreed. Gets away with it due to it being out of character but then brings it back up twice in separate threads. Both times making jokes about it.
