I'm not going to go overboard about Morais until I see some results on the pitch. Jury is well and truly out though I hope he proves to be fantastic.

See I don’t believe that, I think the players we recruited were down to Patrick and the ‘plan’ he set up when we went down. Whomever was manager at the time would have got them players to work with.

Na I'm a Barnsley fan and will always watch em like I have always done and I've seen some garbage at well over the years but I've always been there shouting them on and never will give up on em - it's in the blood - but I do have opinions and like to give them - as for old timer - that's in years only - not in spirit sonny !! As for Danny Wilson he was brilliant first time round and **** second time - I will give this new bloke my full support and time which he and the new board deserve - and I reckon they will deliver - exciting times ahead for me

So Danny Wilson inherited bad players so it wasn’t his fault they were crap - even though he had two transfer windows, signed players who turned out to be great, but the team was still crap - yet Morais, having played one game, is a ‘scollop’ (I assume you mean scallop?), having inherited a squad which yes had been recently added to but had only won once in 16.

Aye ok.

Danny Wilson mk2 was a huge mistake, an appointment made to appease fans as Cryne thought it better to accept being relegated and change tack. He was tripe from start to finish.

He has an eye for a player, I wouldn’t mind him being involved in recruitment in a director of football type role, but as the head coach/manager, absolutely never.

I’ll reserve judgement on Morais for now. I still think we should have enough to survive personally, if so next year could be interesting.

If not, well, it would still be interesting!

 

And as for not renewing, if you can decide that based on one fixture then I’m not sure the club will miss you all that much.

 

This is a load of scallops. Wilson had a 30% win ratio. Even Flicker had a better ratio. Wilson signed some proper garbage in the Jan window. Isn't a manager supposed to make players better? I wanted Wilson to succeed, I thought he was brave to come back but he didn't succeed.
