    I was. But do explain. JC and I were discussing good players from 83 to 95. You quoted indisputably one of the best from that period and juxtaposed one of the worst from the last few years.
    In that case I give you:-
    Adam Hamill v Steve Lowndes
    Conor Hourihane v Billy Ronson
    Marc Roberts v Charlie Bishop
    Sam Winnall v Carl Airey
    It's a game you could play all day and prove nothing.

    1983-95 was a thousand times better than 2012-18. Ten thousand times even. Just compare the league positions and the number of games won. It's beyond insanity to say they were about the same.
