Well perhaps you could explain how all this has worked over the last 18 months or so.

How it led to our wonderful Championship maintaining squad this season.

And how if we end up in Div 1 that it has worked.

We hopefully are a Championship team. How you can crow about getting up through the playoffs, and delight in 2 finals that would have been impossible to win if we'd even been in the Championship, seem to indicate to me an acceptance that we ought to be back down where you're happy to win these things.

I don't watch BFC in order to be thankful about how much money we've made.

BTW you did give credit to this dude from abroad for today's victory. Where did I say you said we won because of him?

 

Yeah fair enough, but its just another tool we have in order to gain abit more information. Im no expert at all im not 100% what the role entails apart from gather stats about the opposition players, seems a useful thing to have to me. Im sure it played its part in our league one promotion aswel.

He was asked to do a job as part of the prep for today’s match and we won so yes he deserves some credit.

As does JM and the coaching team. The players. Sedgy for getting Jackson back fit ect. It’s a team effort.

Or is he looking at data supplied to him?

It just seems strange that someone in another country can have useful input into today's game.

If we stay up this season it’s a success again.

 

It’s only (or was only) a success when players are sold on for a profit.

 

You can buy the info pretty much online as a start. So yes, you can do remotely.

However this is only a stop-gap.

If the new guy is serving a notice period, then it makes sense on a short term basis, but it would be strange long-term i agree - but we know this is not long term, so no concerns.

In the same way that Bailey did when he was employed by the club. If the analysis is done via video or a statistical review then why can’t it be done from anywhere on the planet?

 

Mmmmm.....so if it's available potentially to all, is there a reason why our coach needs a coach from abroad to explain something about the other team to him?

No idea mate, i dont think its solely to blame for a win or a loss. Its just all part of the bigger process of preparing for a football match. We won today so uv gotta give everyone involved credit. Maybe it had zero input who knows..... If nothing else it gives the head coach more of a heads up of what he's dealing with.

 

Because the information contained within needs dissecting and plotting against your own squad strengths etc.

You can’t do everything yourself. Hecky didn’t and no other managers from I’d say League 1 upwards do. Even some League 2.

 

He’s clearly the guy that we’re bringing in to provide JM with such information. If he has been identified as the man who JM and the club want to do the job going forward and was available to do the job in advance of today’s game and Tuesday’s game then why wouldn’t the club use him? They’d be daft not to, imho.
