Harsh on Potts - did much more than Gardner and williams when in centre mid and then got punted out to the wing so we could change to a formation that didn't suit most of the players we had on the pitch.

He might be quite raw but at least he tries to impact the game going forward - the evidence of what happens when we don't have a player like that in the centre was on display in the last 30 minutes when we just surrendered the midfield.

    Fair enough.
Potts is a trier, I’ll give him that. I just wish we could bottle that up and give some to Moncur, he’s a talented player, but too idle unfortunately.
Obviously while ever we are picking up points with Potts in the team then it’s a no brainer.

On reflection, tonight is a very good point. But we need to start doing the basics right when seeing games out, we put ourselves under too much pressure for long periods in the 2nd half.

It seemed to me that we could have done with a very quick wide player on for the last 30 minutes who also works hard at defending.
Good point though in my opinion.

LOL, no agenda here, I did watch him when he came on the pitch and noticed that he made no attempts to tackle anybody and just ran around a little..... I dislike how this board has favorite players who can do no wrong and are above criticism..... everybody else wearing the shirt last night ran their hearts out and tackled like it was a cup final including our 3 forwards.....

From anyone that went, what was the problem second half? Did we just not retain possession and revert to pumping long aimless balls or was it that hull upped their game?? Just wondering what happened as i only got to listen to the first half of the commentary
