    That's as clear a penalty as you'll see. Idiotic again from him. A shame as I think he's a decent player.

    For once the Referee gets the penalty decision wrong in our favour - still got a few more to go to even things out mind
    but we have had much softer penalties given against us this season.

    Haha too true , we'll put you down as not his biggest fan. I just like quirky players and think he might be worth giving a chance to longer term.

    Wouldn't see another game for me. We can't afford to carry an hothead in our team. Rather we stick with the two full backs that got us the clean sheet at Birmingham and have McCarthy and Pearson as back up.

    Had to watch the film several times to see what people are raving about. That kind of thing happens several times every game and it's unusual to see three/four penalties given every game. Wasn't there so can't say what I would have thought if I was at the game. would have been very disappointed to see a penalty given for that.

    Yeah great point, but we don't have to invite problems with unnecessary ***** like that...another night/another ref we could have gone home with nowt cos of that.

    It doesn’t. You get lots of slight nudges & pulls & slight one handed pushes on the blindside of the ref to gain advantage without the referee seeing enough to give a pen but you very rarely see anyone blatantly shove an opposing player 2 handed like that & get away with it.

    I'm sure Jose will have a chat with him, I wouldn't get up tight about it mate. Its been a long time since there was owt to cheer so why look for negatives that didn't even happen?

    The problem is a different ref would have given a penalty and yellow card - sending him off and probably costing us the game
    the fact he got away with it is pure luck - It was far too big a risk to take and he got lucky - next time he probably wont

    The next time he does it Im sure it will go against us. Getting away with it here was nothing to do with good skill, it was all down to luck as the ref didn't give it.
