I want the return of the old school "casey" that weighs half a ton when wet. Sort out the men from the boys.

I’d like to see a return of the unbustable that put you in traction if you headed it on a cold day.

My grandad played to quite a high level in the amateur game in Scotland, before heading to Yorkshire to work down the pit. Used to tell me a tale about completing his hat trick with a header in the pouring rain with a header, which he hit smack on the laces. Reckoned he couldn't remember anything else until the next day, including the score, and the fact he was later booked for throwing the presumably even more sodden ball at the linesman for giving a throw in the wrong way.
