Never have liked their manager whatever club he has been in...he cannot or will not admit he could be the one that's wrong. Also he is an arrogant little tw@t too.
Cotterill saying he's past the point of caring about whether they're going to sack him. Told management " get on with it." Gary Monk odds on to replace him. Hope so. He won't turn them round.
To put the quote into more context he was asked about rumours that Gary Monk has been approached already for his job and he replied "If that's been going on behind my back, it's best for them to get on with it". And quite right too
I really hope they stick with him, terrible manager (and seemingly person). Could maybe do with them picking up a couple of draws soon to potentially keep his job but then take them down
I was told last night that Gary Monk had already been offered the Birmingham City job and that Steve Cotterill would’ve been asked to resign and/or sacked irrespective of today’s result. It looks to me like they’re taking the bull by the horns and going for broke.
Monk is a fraud. Done less in the game than Heckingbottom. I was really pleased he ruled himself out of coming to us in that BBC interview.
that just shows what an arrogant nasty little b@st@d he truly is. If that statement is true then any other club in need of a manager should see that as enough to give him a wide berth. Hope he never works again .
Turned Swansea into a reactive set of hoofers. Spent £7million on Ashley Fletcher and £15million on Assombalonga only to have Middlesbrough floating around in mid-table. Had a play-off place sewn up at Leeds, but couldn't help showing his genius by tinkering, and ending up missing out. Plus he's a smug, whiny bar steward.
What a plonker Cotterill is. He invited the board to sack him and with his untimely comments and the teams abject performances they have taken him up on the offer.
He knows he'll get a nice pay off and the tv pundits will describe him as a bright young manager. It sickens me the way they all scratch each others backs when it's the fans that have to put up with the performances they oversee.
