    About time he was dropped?

Watched highlights of Cardiff game the other night and everything seemed to be Lindsays fault in end for me. Pinnock got dropped but ultimately he didnt seem to do much wrong where as it was Lindsays who slid for first goal to block and missed it.. think he shouldve done better. It was lindsay who failed to close down for 2nd, he went and then stopped and tried running back towards goal some reason.. and then when they hit post, it was williams with bad pass but lindsay hesitated to come out and stopped dead still and let him have a free crack at it again..

Hes passing has been poor a lot of time although thats not main problem.. the main problem is he is too hesitant and seems to think that as long as he is in line with back 4 then everythings sunshine and rainbows.

He also hasnt really threatened at other end where as Pinnock has in his short time hes had in first team.. Maybe try pinnock and jackson for a change?

Also I dont understand the dropping yiadom thing.. Cavare I like but against middlesborough he looked a little clueless at times and felt Yiadom has to be starting 11 every week as he is one of few who deserve to be regulars, even if its Left back..

If you believe its mad to suggest Pinnock and jackson can do as good a job as Lindsay and anyone else then you must have a thing for him

Was Pinnock dropped or injured? I thought he might be injured with dropping out of the squad. I know Pearson can play all across the back four but we’d got Yiadom on the bench too so didn’t need Pearson for cover at full back.

There’s no way of knowing whether we’d be better having Jackson & Pinnock together but I don’t think we would, I don’t think they’d complement each other, I’d prefer one of them alongside a more comfortable on the call defender like Lindsay. I fear teams would sit back & force Jackson & Pinnock to try & play out & I don’t think either can do it.

Despite having one of the worst teams in the league with a very poor keeper, weak midfield & weak attack for 5 months we’ve not conceded many goals so the defence can’t be doing that badly. We’ve rarely got hammered & the teams around us have much worse goal differences.

Lindsay’s also the organiser back there who you see dishing the orders out. If Jackson or Pinnock can step up & do that role then fair enough

If we are picking players on form then yes he has to be dropped. His performances have been substandard for quite a while and pinnock has been putting in motm performances before his injury. One bad game and he's dropped but others can have bad games and keep their places.

Dont see what use izzy was when i watched middlesbrough.. one good cross where noone gambled yet shouldve. Other than that he was giving fouls away everytime he was near ball even if he was the one on the ball cos he got shrugged off like thin air and then couldnt get it back.

I do like Pinnock but it’s Jackson and Lindsay at centre back for me.

I’ve seen Pinnock dominate in the air so if fit he plays for me. The other two are often very weak in the air

He seemed to be ok during the promotion season. Maybe just maybe he's actually injured .
