I take it you did not rate Watson , who I thought was a very good keeper who could have on to great things

Watson is the best keeper I’ve seen play for us by some way.

I think Watson made some disappointing mistakes with crosses though, like in the first Prem game against West Ham.
I was sorry to see us lose a few players when we last went down, and Luke Steele was one of the main ones for me.

Also I wasn't having a personal dig at the Oxford keeper, Im questioning our idea of signing players who've never played in this league.

If he hadn't been stood in east stand he might have had a chance

I was really hoping that he was coming back to us when he said on the Reds Report inteview that he was coming back to England and perhaps making a choice that wasn't best moneywise but would make him happy.

To be fair , in recent times we have done all our shopping in the bargain basement & we stayed up last season with a crop of players who had hardly played at this level plus for any player to move up a level someone has to give them a chance & up to them to take it

Flapper at crosses coming in from the bylines, good with them coming in from halfway line. Shocking at catching a ball and still the only goalkeeper I have ever seen that dropped to his knees to try and push the ball over the crossbar !

Your definition of decent is a lot different to mine then.
Muller was a top class keeper but decent includes Watson, Leese, Steele, Illic. In fact Davis has been decent for a couple of seasons but for some reason not this one

Kevin Miller is the best 'keeper we have had in my time watching us.

I have seen yer Watsons, yer Steeles and yer Mullers.

Townsend pulled a good save in a 1v1 in 2nd half atleast

Seemed only 3rd was his fault.. 1st cavare shouldve got across better. 2nd wasnt closed down and was a good strike. 3rd he was terrible. I agree Davies is better but hes decision making can be a let down hence why he was dropped

Edit. I should add that I believe hes had enough rest and should be back now..
